My Mom's 70th Birthday Surprise

My mom turned 70 and I decided on a surprise visit. My sisters from PE were already going home to celebrate the weekend with her. It was suggested that I fly down, but instead I opted to go the 600 km's on the bike. Took leave for the Friday (riding down) and Monday (riding back).

Then finally I was home. BIG surprise for my mom !!!

Went to the famous Padlangs restaurant for launch celebrations.

Monday it was time to hit the long road home again. (with a heavy heart)

Te bike performed flawlessly.  As always I ate to much while visiting my folks. 

Was a very special weekend and I am so glad I did it.
