Bassing Again

Almost exactly 9 years ago, me and Tiaan went bass fishing for the first time. It was in Citrusdal, Western Cape at one of Middelpost's dams.

Tiaan caught this one on his own, much to my amazement, because he was not throwing more than 5 meters. He didn't want to touch the fish, so I had to put it on a string for him to pose for his pic.

 

I caught a nice big one, much to his amazement . . . lol

 

 

Today, 9 years later, we were bass fishing again at a dam on the farm we recently moved to. Zandvliet, Western Cape.

 



Scouting Trip

Taking a break from unpacking endless boxes . . .
Took the KLR and went in search of the sea.

I accepted a new job offer in the Western Cape.
Sooooo much gonna miss the Nothern Cape !
Sooo many golden memories. . . . . . . . .
Such good friends . . . . .

At 10H00 the truck from Lowe Lines arrived.

 

Nothing to do while they pack everything into boxes.
