Always sort of knew it would only be a matter of time . . . .
Something bigger, little faster, more stable, more pillion friendly, suitable for longer trips
Up to now could manage the urge, then suddenly . . . .  no longer . . .
Bought the BMW 1150 GSA, nicknamed The Fat Lady, in George.
Got on a bus to George and drove her back through the scenic R62 route.

First pillion test run:

Not that bad ! Will need some practice though, The Fat Lady is heavy !

Mcgregor Bike trippie-pie

For a long time we are promising the wife's that we will take them on the bikes for a short trip.

Short it was indeed, from Ashton to Mcgregor, 36 km.

Drank coffee and hang out in "nonsense" shoppies

First Hike on Zandvliet

After four months of living on Zandvliet, we decided it's time for a short hike into the mountains of the farm.

Bike Trip to Baden

Long time no riding, so me and David set out to find some dirt roads in the Montagu region.

Found a place called Baden and a nice gravel road.
