"Kleiduif" Shoot

Jors and Me were invited to shoot in one of the 2 Karsten teams for a fundraiser event at Oranjerus.
Was a first for both of us, and we struggled in the beginning.
To the end of the shoot we started to get the hang of it.
Something totally different than we are used to.
Was great fun !

 

 

First Springbuck Hunt 2014

The 2014 Hunting season started well for me and Tiaan.

The day started cold and slow, then picked up rapidly towards the end.

In total we shot seven, really nice size springbuck.

 

 

 

 

 

First time I went for the headshot, because nothing more was presented to me from the other side of a bush. Turned out well with the bullet striking just under the eye.

 

Tiaan again got the biggest buck

 

 

M21 after a really hard day's work:

 

This year Tiaan didn't get off so easy. He and his friend Steven had to take some raw liver for shooting their first springbuck on the farm. Then they had to down a shot, altered for them to red cooldrink. He was able to keep everything inside. Proud of you son !

 

 

A month later hunted with my work colleaques. Shot 5 springbucks, this one a nice 27 kg buck
