Four families, two camping sites at Groenrivier, four days ahead of us . . . . .
Got there late the Thursday afternoon, due to some eating in Nando's (which had Wi-Fi for the kids phones)
My bakkie also had a small tyre problem, but it was only the valve and I got it fix in Garies for R20.
The camp was set up with speed . . . . . and sweat !
After the Gasebo's were erected and the floor sail in place, we found a small steel pen pretruding from the ground about 3cm. This would not do, so me and Jors started escavating with what we have.
Friday we went crayfish diving . . . . . . . with lots of hope
We were not disappointed:
Also a few monsters . . . . . . . . .
It was really a very nice diving experience, best in years for me.
Next day (Saturday) we did the same and again, lady luck smiled on us.
Crayfish was enjoyed with "smaak" !
Tiaan decided that the crayfish legs were more he's kind of thing and he had crayfish legs for breakfast each morning:
We had two Gasebo's that we placed next to one another to form a nice big kitchen and dining area:
Food preparations . . . . . . . . . "potjieskos"
Some pita bread . . . . . . . .
Kids grilling some marshmallows . . . . . . . . . .
On Sunday I went spearfishing with friends from a nearby camp. Nice little gully and I shot 4 Hotnotsvis. For me this was the cherry on top of the weekend !!!
Proof that every day was live to the fullest !!
